Iman attended some of David’s concerts in the late 1980’s, but they were not properly introduced until October 1990 at a dinner held by their mutual hairdresser, Teddy Antolin,
Bowie fell in love instantly.
He was later quoted in an interview saying “I was naming the children the night we met … it was absolutely immediate.” But not so for Iman. “I did not want to get involved with a rock star. No way. It is not a sane thing to do, but David changed my mind. He wooed me.”
Not long after their first meeting, Iman had to travel to Paris. She arrived to a hotel room filled with her favorite flower (gardenias) and a card from David.
When she returned to Los Angeles, David was there waiting for her at the airport. Iman was sold. In an interview with NyMag Iman recalled, “His actions spoke louder [than words]. […] the doors open to the plane, and I come out and I see all these people taking a picture of somebody. And he was standing there, flowers in hand, no security. That was when I knew. He didn’t care if anyone saw.”
Anonymous said: Can you explain more about stelliums? In my chart, I have a lot of Scorpio. My sun sign is a Libra. Thanks!
The Zodiac circle is measured in 360 degrees. Every sign covers 30 degrees. 30 X 12 = 360.
A stellum occurs when three or more sources of energy (i e any planets, Sun, Moon) are placed on the same (or almost the same) degree. Strict astrologers count everything placed within 4’ - that’s called a 4’ orb. But other astrologers might think an orb of 8’ is ok.
This means that if you have the Moon at 4’ Scorpio (for instance), Mercury at 12’ Scorpio and Venus at 17’ Scorpio, they do not form a stellum. But if you have the Moon at 4’, Mercury at 7’ and Venus at 8’, that is a stellum.
A stellum is a very strong indicator since it’s a concentrated spot of energy. If you have a stellum, it’s usually going to influence your life heavily. If, for instance, you have a stellum between Mars, Jupiter and Mercury, you will have to compete in something (probably a sport). If you do not, you’ll feel bad.

Happy Birthday Don Rosa, creator of the Duck family tree.
He was born on June 29th 1951 and there is a stellum (which means that three or more energy sources in the horoscope are placed more or less on top of each other) between the Sun, Mercury and Uranus, all in Cancer. This Stellum is typical of artists that create things that are truly original; they interpret the world from a very personal perspective and that is seen in their art. Many with this Stellum choose to be reporters or journalists, and they are very good at explaining things in new ways of from new perspectives. No wonder that Don Rosa has meant so much for the modern version of Duckburg, weaving old threads together to create a new whole.

friendly reminder that giving smokers shit is the same as fat shaming (◡‿◡✿)
friendly reminder that second-hand smoking damages the people around you by making them inhale carbon monoxide and carcinogenic chemical compounds linked to diseases such as lung cancer and childhood leukaemia and can cause pregnant women to lose their baby whereas second-hand eating isn’t even a thing (◡‿◡✿)
reblogging for the second friendly reminder
passive smoking is actually MORE dangerous than smoking - you get all the hazards AND an extra risk of heart disease and none of the pleasure. At least a doctor told one of my relatives this.
